The Houghton Police Department is asking for your help, in identifying a vehicle that allegedly took part in stealing a trailer with two snowmobiles, from 918 College Avenue on Tuesday morning, approximately 5:30am.
A trailer with a motorcycle was also taken from the same location between Saturday and Monday, although authorities don’t know if the two are related.
A review of the city’s camera system showed a black minivan or possibly small SUV, travelling down M 26 and Lakeshore Drive, pulling the trailer with the snowmobiles on it, at approximately 5:36am yesterday morning.
The vehicle may have gone into the West Houghton area or down the Houghton Canal Road.
