Houghton Named “Destination Location” for New Great Lakes Cruise

Houghton has been named a highlight destination on Viking Cruises’ new Great Lakes tours.

Known as Viking Expeditions, the series will begin in 2022, with approximately 20 voyages per summer.

The company is building the Great Lakes’ largest cruise ship for the tours. The ship will be more than 670 feet long, and will carry 378 passengers and 250 crew members.

Viking already offers cruises on the high seas, and on selected rivers.
