Houghton Middle School Students Present “Scary” Play

The Houghton Middle School Drama Club takes to the stage this weekend with a play that’s incredibly scary – or is it?

Actor Reagan Aho admits Scariest Play – Ever is, in fact, not scary at all…

No – not in the slightest. It’s ironic – it’s a comedy, actually.

In fact, the play is a send-up of the scary movie genre, with five vignettes based on classic films – “The Calamityville Horror,” “Saturday the 14th,” “The Extortionist,” “Paranormal Sensitivity,” and “Nightmare on Oak Street.”

Performances are scheduled for tomorrow and Saturday evenings at 7:00, and Sunday afternoon at 2:00 in the Houghton High School Auditorium.

Tickets are $7.00 for adults and $5.00 for students and seniors, and will be available at the door.
