Houghton-Keweenaw 4-H Picks 2020 Senior Scholarship Winner

The Houghton-Keweenaw County 4-H Program has awarded their 2020 Senior Scholarship to Houghton resident Noah Bach.

Noah highlighted the positive impact 4-H has had on his life, in his winning essay.

Bach has served as president of the Copper Tips 4-H Archery Club since 2016 and has won medals in regional and state shooting tournaments.

He has also been given the Jr. Teen Leader Award in 2016 then picked up the Sr. Teen Leader Award in 2017. 

It was noted by Anne Kretschmann, Houghton-Keweenaw County 4-H Program Coordinator, that Noah is always eager to lend a hand to younger members, and shows strong leadership and communication skills.

The $500 scholarship can be used to further education, including college, trade school or an apprenticeship program.
