Houghton Holds Second Parking Forum

The City of Houghton held their second forum with the parking consultants last night.

This meeting was for the public, with the morning forum yesterday, for business owners.

Andrew Baglini, from Walker Consultants, explained what time downtown Houghton sees the most need for parking, based on his firm’s research.

One concerned resident explains what happens, when he can’t find a place to park.

Joe Dancey, who frequents downtown, would like parking time limit signs, to be more visible, after receiving a parking ticket.

Resident Jim Hertel, is happy with downtown Houghton’s parking situation. (Actuality)

Walker Consultants continues to work on their final report.

If you’d like to contact the consultants directly, you can do so, with email addresses for Andrew Baglini and Eric Haggett.
