Houghton County Road Work Begins Monday

On  Monday, MDOT will begin road work to replace four culverts and repave segments of US 41 from the Houghton/Baraga county line north of the Snake River, and from Golf Course Road north to Cliff Drive.

They will also be working on M 26 from Cemetery Road north to Green Acres Road.

Traffic regulators will manage single lane closures for the segments being repaved, while temporary traffic signals will handle the culvert sites.

This project is expected to wrap towards the end of September.
