Here is a list of road closures from the Houghton County Road Commission:
Houghton Canal Road will be closed to traffic from Coles Creek Road to Liminga Road from October 3rd to December 7th. The closure is necessary to repair the damage to the road from the Father’s Day Flood. Access will only be allowed to residents and emergency vehicles during this time, but delays should be expected.
Houghton Canal Road at Oscar Bay will remain closed until mid December.
Houghton Canal Road is also scheduled to be closed at the Coles Creek crossing on October 29th until December 7th. To access Markham’s Marina and Schmidt’s Corner Bar, the Liminga Road will have to be used.
Dover Road will be closed to traffic from Oneco Road to Hendrickson Road October 4th to October 18th.
Airport Park Road will be closed to traffic from Hilltop Road to M-26 starting October 4th until December 7th.
