Houghton County Memorial Airport Doubles Cleaning Efforts

Houghton County’s Memorial Airport, has doubled their cleaning schedule, despite a drop in over half of their usual traffic.

Airport Manager Dennis Hext said that despite seeing a drop in traffic through the airport, they are now devoting an extra 4 hours a day, to cleaning and disinfecting in the afternoon.

Hext went on to describe the new cleaning procedures.

Hext added that whether you’re dropping off or picking up, stay in the car, until COVID-19 is no longer a threat.
