Houghton Council to Mull Rezoning for Church

The Houghton City Council will discuss a rezoning proposal at tonight’s meeting.

The Hope Fellowship Church has asked that a portion of the property it owns along West Sharon Avenue be changed from Single Family to General Business.

A public hearing will be held at 5:30 at the City Center, with a decision possible during the regular meeting, which will follow. Read the proposal here.

The council will also hold a closed session to discuss a real estate purchase.
