Houghton Council to Consider Two Ordinances

The Houghton City Council will hold two public hearings on proposed new ordinances at tonight’s meeting at the City Center.

Ordinance 298 updates rental property licensing and inspection in the city. Ordinance 299 updates the city’s solid waste and recycling policies. The council is scheduled to vote on both ordinances later in the meeting, which begins at 5:30.
