Families are being sought to host international students for the upcoming school year.
The International Cultural Exchange Services—Upper Peninsula of Michigan—Youth Exchange Programs is seeking families in Houghton, Keweenaw, Baraga and Marquette Counties who are willing to change lives and make dreams come true.
Four teenage students are looking to come to the UP, from Norway, Mongolia, Japan and Spain. Student have their own allowance, insurance, speak excellent English, and have amazing support. Students are not arriving until late August.
All host family dynamics are welcome and having a teenager is not a requirement. You can host for a few weeks as a welcome family, a semester, or for a school year.
