Home, Garden, and Church Tour: To Benefit the Calumet Theatre & the CLK Council of Churches Food Pantry

As part of Calumet Township’s The Big 150 the Calumet Theatre will once again present its popular home tour only this year it will come with new additions. Besides homes on the tour, also open to the public will be private gardens and historical churches.

The tour will take place on Sunday August 21, 2016 from 1pm – 5pm.  The $15 per person ticket price is going for a good cause by supporting the Calumet Theatre as well as the CLK Council of Churches Food Pantry.

The Norwegian Lutheran Church

St. Paul the Apostle Church

Theatre Executive Director, Laura Miller said several other church sites are pending, but emphasized that this year’s focus was one of being sure visitors would have plenty of time to take in the ambiance and history of each of the structures as well as enjoy the beauty and relaxation of the outstanding gardens.

The $15 per person ticket features a leaflet that includes a map and a description of sites. Advanced tickets are available by phone or by visiting the Theatre Box Office Monday thru Saturday 12 – 5 pm.
