Historic Slot Machine To Be Put On Display

It’s lucky to be in such good shape after all these years.

A working historic slot machine will made available for public viewing after sitting in storage for decades.

The old style nickel slot has spent the last 70-80 years stored at the Hancock Fire Department, both at their old station then moved to their new one.

It is believed to have been seized by police sometime during the prohibition era, but the story behind the machine is a bit of a mystery.

The Hancock City Council may have the backstory researched, but in the meantime it will be put in a case on display at the Hancock city hall.
