A Canadian exploration company, focused on exploring and developing copper projects in the U.P., is working to raise funds to move forward on local mining projects.
Highland Copper Company plans to complete a non-brokered private placement of its securities to raise up to approximately $17 million.
The Company intends to use the proceeds from the Offering to update the feasibility of the Copperwood project, to complete the acquisition of the White Pine project, to settle its liabilities, and for general corporate purposes.
The Company expects to close a portion of the Offering by the end of November and the balance by December 15.
