Happy Glenn Mroz Day!

Wednesday, June 20th, is Glenn Mroz Day in Houghton and Hancock.

A joint meeting of both the City Councils was held Tuesday at the Lakeview Manor in Hancock.

Michigan Tech President Glenn Mroz was presented with a proclamation honoring his 15 years of service as head of the university.

Mroz is retiring at the end of the month and will return to faculty after a year on leave as president emeritus.

Former executive vice president and provost of Louisiana State University Richard Koubek has been selected to succeed Mroz.
