Hancock Welcomes Christmas Friday

Hard on the heels of the Thanksgiving holiday, the Christmas season arrives in the Copper Country Friday evening.

Hancock’s annual Christmas Walk will take place along Quincy Street between 5:00 and 7:00. 

This year’s theme is “Frosty Comes to Hancock.” Santa will be there too, and they will lead the annual parade from the Scott Building to City Hall. The community Christmas tree will be lit, and those attending can enjoy horse-drawn wagon rides through the downtown, cookie decorating, and other fun activities. 

Many downtown businesses will be open, with special promotions.

Quincy Street will be closed to traffic from 5:00 until 7:00.
