The City of Hancock Planning Commission has set the date for a public hearing on the city’s proposed Solar and Wind Power Ordinance.
Comments will be received January 23rd at 6:00 in the city council chamber at City Hall.
Written comments can be mailed or dropped off at City Hall, Attn: City Manager, 399 Quincy Street, Hancock, MI 49930 or emailed to manager@cityofhancock.net. Written comments need to be received by January 20th.
A copy of the proposed Solar and Wind Ordinance is available for reading at City Hall.
Hancock’s Downtown Development Authority will meet this evening at 6 at City Hall. The agenda includes an update about Heikinpäivä, and discussion of candidates for the vacant DDA coordinator position.
