Hancock School Public Library Closed Through School Shutdown

The Hancock School Public Library will be closed for the remainder of the Houghton County School shutdown.

This from a press release from the Portage Lake District Library.

Director Dillon Geshel.

“The Hancock School Public Library is going to be closed to public patrons and students for the duration of the school’s two week closure to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19. So we still be offering curbside services so patrons are able to give us a call or visit our online catalog to place holds on materials, and then drive up to the curb, so they can be delivered.”

While the Hancock School Public Library is closed, the Portage Lake District Library is not. They will remain open with regular hours and services. A link to the library is here.
