Hancock School District Holds Monthly Meeting

The Hancock School District held their monthly meeting last night, electronically, in line with Governor Whitmer’s “Stay Home Stay Safe” Executive Order.

The distance learning program and the grading systems that will be used for the remainder of the school year were discussed.

It was also noted that the district has passed out over 5,000 meals for students.

Superintendent Steve Patchin was pleased with how staff members are handling the changes brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic.

It was also noted that report cards for the 3rd marking period will be ready shortly.

The board also accepted resignations of Susan Zubiena and Paul Dube.

A motion approving Dr. Patchin to negotiate the payment to Lamers Transportation for the remainder of the school year was also approved.
