Hancock Road Repairs Making Progress

Work is continuing in Hancock to get all the streets repaired that were damaged by last year’s flood.  The City of Hancock recently posted an update on their progress on their website.

City officials say work crews are finishing up restoration and parking paint markings on Elevation Street, Tezcuco Street, Water Street, East Quincy Street and Dunstan Street.

No road closures are expected to complete this work with the exception of Tezcuco Street while they paint the parking lines.  A short closure will be required for paint markings on Ingot Street when that work commences.

Work will continue on Campus Drive between Pleasant Valley and Elevation Street for the next couple of weeks.

Work has also begun on parts of Hecla, Birch, Ohio, Ethel Ave, Ravine, and Tezcuco, with crews performing minor patch work and shoulder erosion repair.  These repairs will require intermittent temporary lane closures and work will continue until September.

Work on Montezuma and White Street is complete.
