Hancock Planning Commission to Mull Solar/Wind Power Ordinance

The Hancock Planning Commission will continue its discussion about a proposed ordinance to regulate solar and wind energy devices in the city at its meeting tonight.

A draft ordinance has been prepared, and posted on the city’s website.

Comments from the public are welcome, and can be submitted in person, or at this evening’s meeting.

The Planning Commission will hold a formal public hearing for the proposed ordinance in January or February, before forwarding it on to the City Council.

Tonight’s session will begin at 6:00 at Hancock City Hall.
