The City of Hancock held their monthly meeting last night.
Two members of the Council, Mayor Pro-Tem Will Lytle and At Large member Whitney Warstler, attended the meeting, via video conference.
The meeting began with a moment of silence, for former City Manager Barry Givens, who was laid to rest this past Monday.
City Clerk Mary Babcock reported a 62% increase in absentee ballots from the Presidential Primary held on March 10th.
Bus service will also continue in Hancock, although it was asked that residents only use the service for essential needs, which is up to the person who rides the bus.
The Council received a letter, thanking the Hancock Police Department, for their involvement with the Special Olympics Unified Champion Schools basketball game, held last month.
The Council also accepted the resignation of City Attorney Kevin Mackey, who is retiring.
Mackey served as City Attorney for over 10 years.
