Hancock Business Park on Hold – City Council Wrap-Up

Ready… set… not quite go.

After some last-minute deliberation over the language governing its new Business and Technology Park, the Hancock City Council delayed approving the document last night.

The regulations will be tweaked, and considered again at the council’s next meeting.

In the meantime, city staff will continue to work with real estate broker Kristen Weidner to set list prices for the lots.

Pickleball fans should see painting and nets put in place at the four new courts at Laurn Grove Park within the next two weeks. The new courts are replacing the old tennis courts.

The end is in sight for the restoration of the Maasto Hiihto trails, following the damage caused by the 2018 Father’s Day Flood. The city is requesting bids for the final phase of work being funded by FEMA disaster funds.
