Hancock Boil Water Alert Lifted

Residents of East Hancock can drink their tap water again.

The Boil Water Alert that had been posted early this week for the area from Dunstan Street east to the city limits was lifted Thursday afternoon.

It had been imposed after a repair created conditions under which contaminants might have entered the system.
