Halftime Recognition Event Planned For Former Hancock Football Players

Once a Bulldog–always a Bulldog, and if you were a player on a Hancock Bulldog football team in the 1940’s and 50’s, a special honor is planned for you.

When the Hancock Bulldogs take on the Lake Linden—Hubbell Lakes on Friday, August 26th, players from those decades are invited to take part in a halftime recognition event.

The public is strongly encouraged to come out to the game and support the team and thank these players.

The current team has almost 60 players and new equipment is needed.

Two years ago, the players from the undefeated 1944 team were recognized.

That event generated over $2,500 for the team.
