Baraga County Communities That Care along with Dial Help are hosting the next Guiding Good Choices Workshop.
The workshop is for all parents and caregivers of middle school age children who want to strengthen family bonds and foster healthy behavior.
The five session series will be held starting November 7th at the Baraga Area School Library. Additional sessions will take place on November 14th and 28th, and December 5th and 12th. Workshops are from 6:00-8:00pm.
The program will focus on:
- Help reduce adolescent problem behaviors
- Learn effective youth management skills
- Increase communication skills
- Improve parent/guardian — child interaction & bonding
- Build skills and awareness to help resist peer influences
