Yesterday Governor Whitmer held a press conference, outlining the latest efforts taken by the state, to combat the COVID-19 outbreak.
Governor Whitmer advised residents to assume they have the virus, and act accordingly.
The Governor also stated this outbreak is a challenge, and fighting it, has created significant, but temporary changes to our daily lives.
The Governor also reminded everyone of Michigan’s determination, and asked residents to make smart choices, when battling the disease.
In addition to limiting gatherings sizes and restricting entry into health care, residential care and juvenile justice facilities, the state also lifted seasonal weight restrictions for trucks, delivering supplies.
Michigan’s Chief Health Officer, Joneigh Khaldun called for residents to remain calm.
