Governor Whitmer Extends Executive Order Protecting States Most Vulnerable

Governor Whitmer has extended the executive order, which protects the state’s most vulnerable in resident care facilities, health care facilities and juvenile justice facilities.

Michigan’s Department of Health and Human Services maintains the power to specify exceptions to these restrictions.

Whitmer said “We must remain vigilant in our fight against COVID-19 and protect our most vulnerable from the spread of this virus.”

The order remains in effect through August 31st.
