Governor Whitmer Appoints Yoopers To State Councils

Governor Whitmer has made appointments to Michigan’s Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs and Michigan’s Autism Council, with U.P. Residents.

Darryl Brown of St. Ignace and Nheena Weyer Ittner of Marquette, were appointed to three year terms to Michigan’s Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs, which will expire on September 1st 2023.

Jacob Daar or Marquette, was appointed to a 4 year term on Michigan’s Autism Council expiring on September 30th 2024.
