Governor Whitmer Appoints Upper Peninsula Residents To State Boards

Governor Whitmer has made appointments to the Michigan Board of Nursing and Ski Area Safety Board, with Upper Peninsula residents.

Julie Reddinger, an Iron Mountain resident, and LPN with the Dickinson County HealthCare System Cardiology Center, has been appointed to a 4 year term, expiring in June of 2024.

She succeeds Jill Devries, whose term expired on June 30th.

Andrew Farron of Marquette, who also manages the Marquette Mountain Resort, has been appointed to represent Upper Peninsula ski area managers, for the next four years.

His term expires on June 8th, 2024.

He succeeds Nick Sirdenis, whose term expired on June 8th.

Both appointments are subject to the advice and consent of the Michigan Senate.
