The search for a new village manager in Calumet is underway.
At last night’s village council meeting, Amber Goodman announced that her final day will be October 3. She has agreed to be available in a part-time, on-call role to assist until a new manager is hired.
Village Clerk Patricia Pressel will maintain office hours Mondays through Thursdays from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the village hall.
The employment notice for the village manager position is posted on the village website.
In other action last evening, the council approved $7,000 worth of repairs for village fire department vehicles.
