There are a lot of misconceptions about the flu and whether or not a person should get a flu shot.
A special Lunch & Learn presentation will look at Flu Facts and Youth Health to help get people ready for the upcoming flu season.
Dr. Scott Pynnonen from the Baraga County Memorial Hospital will talk about why people should receive a flu vaccination and what type is best for each individual.
Dr. Pynnonen will also be discussing the various types of recommended adult vaccines, such as Prevnar, pneumococcal, Shringix and Tdap.
The event will take place on September 19th from 12:00pm-1:00pm at the Baraga County Memorial Hospital Conference Center.
