Gasoline prices continue to rise.
AAA Michigan’s ongoing survey puts the statewide average price of a gallon of unleaded regular at $3.32 this morning.
That’s 14 cents higher than a week ago, and basically the same price as a month ago.
Prices on the Keweenaw Peninsula continue to be among the highest in the state, with Houghton County at $3.41, and Keweenaw County at $3.50. Ontonagon County is also well above the state average at $3.37. Baraga County is well below, at $3.13.
Market watchers note that demand has increased, and the nationwide supply has tightened, which could mean prices will continue to climb.
