Gasoline prices in our region held basically steady last week.
AAA Michigan’s survey places the cost of a gallon of unleaded regular at $2.55 in Houghton County. That’s a penny higher than last week, right in line with the national average, but seven cents above the statewide average.
Keweenaw County stayed at $2.92 per gallon, and is again has the highest prices in the state. Ontonagon County is at $2.58 per gallon – two cents lower than last week. Baraga County is at $2.37 per gallon – nine cents lower than last week.
