Gas Prices Hold Steady

Gasoline prices basically held steady in our area last week.

The average price in AAA Michigan’s Marquette metro area is $2.65 per gallon. That’s a penny less than it was a week ago, a dime less than a month ago, and 30 cents less than a year ago.

Prices on the Keweenaw Peninsula are higher than the Marquette average – currently averaging $2.70 per gallon in Houghton County, and $2.98 per gallon in Keweenaw County.

Baraga County’s gas is cheaper, averaging $2.51 per gallon.
