The Keweenaw Bay Indian Community and the Superior Watershed Partnership are teaming up to provide a public tire drop off event this Saturday.
From 8:00am to 2:00pm at the KBIC Solid Waste Facility in Baraga, local residents can drop off tires from passenger vehicles, motorcycles, and ATV’s to be recycled for free.
There is a limit of 10 tires per household.
There cannot be any rims on the tires and tires from semi’s and businesses will not be accepted.
