The Western UP Health Department is offering free hearing and vision screenings for children entering Preschool, Kindergarten, or home schooling.
Screenings will be offered at their office in Hancock on July 23rd and 24th, and in L’Anse on July 25th.
Hearing and vision screenings help identify difficulties a child may be experiencing with their hearing and/or vision.
If a potential problem is identified, a referral is made to a specialist for additional testing.
