Flags Flown At Half Staff Today

Governor Whitmer has ordered Michigan flags be flown at half staff today, to honor the memory of Chief Warrant Officer Daniel Thomas, who passed away on February 29th, at Fort Leonard Wood in Missouri.

Thomas served in the Michigan National Guard and completed tours in the Desert Storm campaign as well as Iraq.

Thomas was laid to rest yesterday, in North Shores Michigan.

Flags will return to full staff tomorrow.
