Five people have been arraigned on drug related charges after a series of arrests in the Escanaba area.
Members of the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team say the big fish is 34-year-old Travis Anderson of Escanaba, who faces several charges for delivery of methamphetamine.
The other four are charged mostly with possession and bond violation offenses.
The arrests came Monday, after officers searched a home where Anderson was believed to be hiding. They seized meth, prescription drugs, cash, and equipment.
Officials say other arrests are pending in the investigation, which has been going on for six months.
Those already arrested and charged include:
– Travis Anderson, 34, Escanaba – Conspiracy to Deliver Meth, Delivery of Meth, Delivery of Controlled Substance (Schedule 4)
– Michael Bumstead, 19, Gladstone – Possession of Meth, Bond Violation
– April Harrison, 27, Escanaba – Possession of Meth, Maintaining a Drug House, Contraband into Correctional Facility
– MacKenzie Dedominicis, 17, Rapid River – Possession of Meth
– Joshua Tellefsen, 36, Escanaba – Bond Violation
