Five people are facing charges after a series of drug busts in Schoolcraft County.
A Thursday traffic stop that turned up crystal methamphetamine resulted in one arrest for distribution-related charges.
Using information gained from the traffic stop, detectives from the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team, Michigan State Police troopers and officers from the Manistique Public Safety Department executed two search warrants.
The first raid netted two more suspects on charges relating to distribution of methamphetamine. Detectives seized crystal meth and other evidence of drug distribution.
The second located additional meth and drug distribution evidence, along with some guns. Two people were taken into custody because of outstanding warrants.
The names of those arrested will not be released at this time. No additional information is being released at this time since the investigation is ongoing.
