Two buildings were destroyed in a Saturday afternoon fire in Iron River.
With some firefighters unavailable because of the firearm deer hunting season, both the West Iron County and the Caspian Gaastra Fire Departments were called out just before 2:00 to the 800 block of West Adams Street.
Officials report that the blaze started in the building at the corner of West Adams and North 9th Avenue. Brisk winds carried it into the adjacent building to the east.
Firefighters remained at the scene until around 7:30.
One injury was reported, but no details were provided.
