Finlandia University will move exclusively to online learning this coming Monday.
Finlandia had planned to shift to online learning to conclude the fall semester after the Thanksgiving break.
Finlandia President Philip Johnson said an increase in COVID-19 cases among students has prompted them to move the date up.
68 students and 12 employees are currently quarantined because of potential exposure to the virus. Isolation dorm rooms set aside for quarantined students are full.
Athletics practices and workouts have been suspended through November 20th.
