Finlandia University Joins Fight Against COVID-19

Finlandia University’s College of Health Sciences jumped into the fight against COVID-19 by donating supplies meant for class instruction, to Gardenview Assisted Living and Memory in Calumet.

Donated items included 1400 pairs of gloves, 170 masks along with caps, gowns and hand sanitizer, to help protect residents and staff.

Executive Director Adam Gill said “These supplies are so appreciated. They will help us tremendously in continuing to keep our residents as safe as possible during this global pandemic. Proper personal protective equipment is the best way to protect the entire Gardenview family, residents and staff. We are so thankful for the amazing donation of PPE from Finlandia.”

Finlandia University transitioned to all online classes on March 18th as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
