The Finlandia Alumni Board is hoping to raise $30,000 during this year’s Giving Day on September 1st.
All funds raised will go toward baseline testing for all students and employees, along with personal protective equipment and anything else needed to help slow the spread of COVID-19.
The FAB Giving Day web page says “The opportunity to test the entire campus community is a meaningful way to position Finlandia University for a successful year ahead.”
Donations can be made prior to September 1st online, by phone or mail.
Arty Puntus, Student Senate President for Nursing, said “Maintaining safety on campus allows students to be able to attend classes face to face and enjoy the college experience, even during a pandemic.”
