Police are investigating a shooting that took place over the weekend in the Eastern Upper Peninsula.
Troopers from the Michigan State Police Sault Ste. Marie Post responded to a report of a shooting Saturday around 4pm.
The incident happened at a rental cabin in Trout Lake in Chippewa County.
One person was arrested at the scene, where police also found the victim of the shooting dead.
No names have been released at this time.
