The Baraga County Shelter Home is hosting a “Hearts and Hands” Fashion Show Fundraiser Monday, October 16 at the Baraga Lakeside Inn.
The show features the clothing of Michigamme’s Crock & Rocker and begins with a browsing and social hour at 5p.m. accompanied by the music of local musician Belinda Maki, followed by dinner and the fashion show at 6.
Ticket-holders will have the opportunity to purchase any clothing items that catch their fancy at 7p.m.
Throughout the evening, there will be more than $600 worth of products and gift certificates from Baraga County businesses to bid on during silent and some not-so-silent auctions.
Beside the show, tickets cover the cost of four different dinner choices, including dessert and a non-alcoholic drink. A cash bar will also be available.
Tickets are $30 each and can be purchased at the Baraga County Shelter Home’s Outreach Office in the L’Anse American Legion building during the day, or at either branch of Superior National Bank in L’Anse and Baraga.
Tickets will also be available at Pat’s Foods in L’Anse from 4-6 p.m. through tomorrow.
Tickets WILL NOT be available at the door.
