Michigan highway construction projects that were paused for the Memorial Day weekend will resume in earnest today.
In our region, an additional project will begin. Contractors will resurface 7.5 miles of highway from the US-41/M-28 intersection in Baraga County easterly to the Tioga Roadside Park.
The effort will cost $4.3 million.
Expect single lane closures using traffic regulators until mid-October.
