A six-month investigation has led to the seizure of drugs, guns and money in Copper City.
Detectives from the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team executed a search warrant at a home in the village today.
They collected methamphetamine, MDMA and numerous illegally obtained prescription drugs. They also picked up two long guns, a small amount of cash, and devices used to facilitate illegal drug activity, including scales and packaging materials.
Officials say the raid was a result of an ongoing investigation into the illegal distribution of methamphetamine and heroin in the Houghton County area.
No arrests have been made at this time. The investigation continues.
