Flu vaccines are now available for veterans enrolled in VA healthcare at their regularly scheduled VA appointments.
Veterans can also take advantage of drive-up flu shot clinics at Upper Peninsula and northern Wisconsin VA Clinics.
If you’re in the Iron Mountain area, you can stop by the Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center September 21st through the 25th from 9am til 2:30pm CT. Vaccines are also available at the Hancock VA Clinic on Market Street September 22nd and 23rd from 8:30a-3:30pm.
Ann Mattson, Infection Control Nurse at the Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center said “The best way to protect against flu and it’s potentially serious complications is with a flu vaccine.”
