The Downtown Houghton Farmer’s Market returns for their season opener on Tuesday, June 19th.
The market is held from 4:00-6:00pm in the parking area on the northwest corner of Lakeshore and Huron St.
The public is invited to come shop for local produce and other creative items.
Children are invited to make their own Mr. Potato Head with potatoes, assorted veggies, and more in the Library’s community room. This activity is free to the public.
The City of Houghton will provide free shuttle service, upon request, for residents from Arbor Green, The Bluffs, The Douglass House, and Heritage Manor.
The market will continue each Tuesday 4-6 pm, running through at least the first week of October.
